Great For School:
My son is in grade 1 now. His school has 2 ‘nutrition breaks’ instead of 2 recesses and a lunch hour. With these EasyLunchBoxes I send 2 of them to school with my son every day and he has 1 for each of his breaks. It makes things so much easier for him and me. He loves it too! He tells me it's so easy to open 1 container with all his snacks in it rather then opening several bags and containers and not know which are for snacks and which are for lunch. I showed this system to his teacher too and she loves it!
EasyLunchBoxes Cooler Bags:
Every day I put 2 EasyLunchBoxes in my son's EasyLunchBoxes cooler bag with an ice pack and 2 Rubbermaid drink boxes on top. It all fits so nice and neatly. One of the best parts is, when his lunch bag comes home, it's not a mess! All his left overs are still in the boxes and not all over the bag. They are easy to clean too. I really like the strap with the whole in it, that's where I put my son's Mabel's Labels tag to make sure he doesn't lose his lunch bag.
Similar Products?
I have actually been to several stores and checked out many websites to see if I can find a similar product here in Canada. But, I can't find any nearly as good as this one. There are a few 'compartment' type lunch boxes, but they are either very expensive or just not practical.
My favourite things about the EasyLunchBoxes are:
- Easily pack a full meal in one container.
- It's simple for my young children to use.
- It saves space in my cupboards.
- I can send a zero garbage lunch with my kids to school.
- They are Eco-Friendly.
- They are made of a safe plastic and are dishwasher, microwave, and freezer safe.
- Plus, they are only $13.95 US for a set of 4!
Shipping:
Because I live in Canada, the shipping is rather expensive from Tarzana, California where they are located. According to their website, they are trying to find a supplier to Canada, and are very empathetic about the high shipping costs, which I very much appreciate. When I won my first set, I bought 2 extra sets and had them shipped at the same time. Bad idea, I got nailed for $45 in customs/duty charges. Tip, only have 1 set shipped at a time! When I won another set, that one came to me no problem with no customs/duty charges.
